Interface in action
Context & implementation
Educational e-commerce project updated with Supabase Auth and PostgreSQL. The UI includes registration, login, an illustrative product catalog, search, and adding/removing cart items. Database security rules restrict carts to their authenticated owners. Real orders and payments are not available. The integration passed automated API-mocked tests; sign-up and email confirmation were verified on the Supabase project shared with KenzieHub; real quantity persistence and cross-account isolation remain to be tested.

The idea
How can a training storefront become a believable browsing experience with search, sign-in and a cart that handles multiple units of the same item?
- 02
How it was built
The current version uses React and TypeScript. It offers a fictional product catalog, submit-to-search and mobile-friendly cards. The cart computes quantities, unit prices, line subtotals and total value. Signed-in sessions use Supabase Auth and PostgreSQL with user-scoped RLS policies.

My contribution
An individual educational UI and integration update. Recent improvements focused on presentation, interaction feedback, persistence and quantity controls.
- 04
What is demonstrated
A navigable demo exists, with no orders or payments. Email signup was observed on the shared service, but live quantity persistence after reload and isolation between two accounts still require independent verification.
- 05
What the code contains
- Registration, login, and protected route integrated with Supabase Auth.
- Searchable educational product catalog and responsive UI.
- PostgreSQL-backed cart protected by Row Level Security.
- Automated authentication and persistence flow tests using mocked APIs.
